それは「田舎暮らしへの憧れ」だけで完結するような優しいものではありません。デフォルメされた表現ではなく“リアルな四国”を再現したかった理由がここにあります。
【四国大陸誕生の物語】
まだ知らない新しい四国を探るという視点から、
“未知の大陸”というキーワードを導きだし、同時に“大陸”という言葉をわかりやすく表現するために、世界地図をベースにした『大陸移動説』になぞらえた架空の物語をつくりました。
Expressing the Real Shikoku
Living, working, and building a life in Shikoku is about far more than an idyllic vision of the countryside. It is a rich and complex experience that cannot be reduced to romanticized notions of rural living. This is why the project set out to portray the real Shikoku rather than a simplified or idealized version.
The Story Behind the Birth of the Shikoku Continent
The project began with the idea of discovering a side of Shikoku that remains unknown. From this perspective emerged the concept of an “undiscovered continent.” To communicate this idea in a clear and engaging way, we created a fictional narrative inspired by the theory of continental drift, using the world map as the foundation for imagining the birth of the Shikoku Continent.
