徳島県勝浦町で育てられた熟成みかん贈答用3kg箱のパッケージ。勝浦町は周囲をぐるり山に囲まれた盆地で、みかんは山間の傾斜で育てられています。
段ボールの外側はシンプルに、内側はみかんが育った環境をイラストレーションで全面に描くことで中と外のコントラストを印象付けています。
みかんが映えるように補色を用いながら、彩度の高い色調で自然豊かで明るい町の風景とみかんのフレッシュさを表現。贈る人のことを思い浮かべてワクワクしたり、贈られた人は箱の蓋を開けた瞬間、勝浦の風景とともにみかんが届けられる。そんな驚きや喜びを感じられる「サプライズと想いを贈る」というコンセプトから生まれたパッケージです。
I designed the packaging for a 3 kg gift box of aged mandarins grown in Katsuura, Tokushima. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, Katsuura is a basin where mandarins are cultivated on sunlit hillside orchards.
The exterior of the box is intentionally understated, while the interior reveals a full illustration of the landscape where the fruit is grown. This contrast between the outside and inside creates a memorable unboxing experience.
Complementary colors were used to enhance the vibrant orange of the mandarins, while a bright, saturated palette captures the freshness of the fruit and the rich natural beauty of Katsuura. The package was designed around the concept of sharing both a surprise and a heartfelt gift—building anticipation for the giver and, upon opening the box, allowing the recipient to discover not only the mandarins but also the scenery and spirit of the place where they were grown.
