「まる」という、なると金時の品種を使用した冷凍焼き芋の商品ブランドマーク。ころっとした丸い形が特徴的なお芋をわかりやすく、そのままモチーフとして用いながら、芋で“いも”の文字を作るという遊び心あふれる楽しい文字を創作しました。
I designed the brand mark for Maru, a frozen roasted sweet potato brand made from the Naruto Kintoki variety.
Inspired by the naturally round shape that characterizes these sweet potatoes, the logo adopts the potato itself as its central motif. At the same time, it playfully forms the Japanese word 「いも」 (imo, meaning sweet potato) using the shapes of the potatoes, creating a distinctive and lighthearted typographic mark that captures the brand's warmth and charm.
